Physician Advisor: Dr. Neal S. Hermanowicz
Dr. Hermanowicz is a professor, department of neurology, and director, Movement Disorders Program at the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. He is also director of the Phillip and Carol Traub Parkinson's Center at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California.
As a physician, Hermanowicz serves patients with neurological problems, primarily in his subspecialty area of Parkinson's Disease, Tourette's Syndrome, Dystonia, Huntington's Disease, and other movement disorders. He conducts trials of new medications in the treatment of Parkinson's and is engaged in clinical research projects for Parkinson's, Huntington's, and epilepsy. Additionally, he is actively involved with the instruction of medical students, residents, other physicians, support groups, and the lay public.

Patient Advisor: James R. Wong, PhD
James R. Wong, PhD is a Parkinson's patient and an accomplished scientist/biologist. First diagnosed in 1993, Dr. Wong has been a public advocate since the California Proposition 71 stem cell initiative campaign. He now serves as an advisor to patients, clinicians and businesses, and promotes Parkinson's research and education as a member of the California Parkinson's Group. As a scientist, Wong focused on making innovative designs and practical tools for life science research.
From his biotech career in university and corporate labs, fields and greenhouses, and in clinics and hospitals, Wong has developed a firm belief in science-based health care, and ultimately a cure for Parkinson's.
